Impact Of Chennai Rains II

The Chennai Rains have left a huge impact..not only on me but all those people who witnesed it..
Like any other person ..I went through that period of no sunlight ..no electricity and no gadgets and no TV..But this episode also taught me a lot..few lesson I wouldn’t otherwise..

There are many things to do ..outside the house if you notice..there are parks..there are beaches..there is our neighborhood..so much to explore..but we prefer to get stuck by the gadgets and TV at home..making virtual friends..lets get out make some real friends from the real world..Take your children out for cycling..or walking..let them get out of the four walls..

we have many things around us ..which makes our life so easy..so comfortable ..the electricity ..the lift..fridge and washing machine..take care of them..don’t misuse them..don’t waste water..when not needed turn them off..don’t waste these resources..respect technology ..

Be Friendly to your neighbours and society people..look up u  your mobile to say Hi to them..when you come out from the lift ..this was one of the important lessons from those days of Chennai Rains..when I could reach my people and my neighbours helped me sharing their mobiles..and internet to reach my people..

Keeping the environment clean is another important lesson I got..how the marina beach threw back all the waste from the sea..is a lesson for us ..not to dump waste in the sea..start wasting dump here and there..be a responsible citizen

Go ahead ..embrace the real life..the real people..
