I love reading children books and trust me this book is for any age. It’s a story of a little girl Yasmin and how her love for books grew as book uncle would give her a book each day and she would be so lost in the characters, but the story twists where book uncle cannot continue lending out books and thus Yasmin fights for the book uncle’s position and the way she goes convincing people, her neighbours, the karate Samuel (the would be Mayor). She writes letters, convinces people and what not.
The story is described beautifully from her school bus journey to her teacher Miss. Rao classes, her best friends and the description of her neighbours, her mom and dad and a strict uncle. A nice south Indian touch to the story makes it so relatable to any kid.
A must read for kids of age 8, 9 years and above.
